Healthwatch Birmingham is the independent champion for people who use health and social care in the city. They listen to what people think is good about services, and what could be improved. This could be about services like GPs, hospitals, dentists, opticians, pharmacists, care people receive in the community or nursing, care or residential homes. They use these experiences to drive improvement in local services.
Healthwatch Birmingham provides routes to feedback so people can share experiences and concerns about their health and social care services.
Healthwatch Birmingham have the power to ensure that people’s voices are heard by the health and social care system. Working together with local services or relevant bodies like the Care Quality Commission (CQC), they can take action, using people’s views to develop our reviews or investigations to help improve the quality of care.
