Open Door Youth Counselling Service is registered with BACP (British Association of couselling & Psychotherapy) accrediting body. Established in 1967, Open Door is a leading Person Centred children and young persons counselling service. They offer one to one counseling for young people aged 12-26.
Person Centred counselling is working holistically dealing with both thoughts and feelings. Working with young people at pivotal times in their lives.
Person Centred counselling is not offering advice or techniques or giving answers. It is about helping young people in a supportive environment to find their own answers, to enable them to live more fulfilling lives, enjoy healthy relationships and build resilience within themselves.
